Walk to End Alzheimer’s Scentsy Fundraiser – 2013*
I am both Honored and Blessed to announce that I have partnered up with Alzheimer’s Association – South Central Wisconsin National Chapter in hosting an ONLINE SCENTSY FUNDRAISER for Alzheimer’s in Wisconsin.
Alzheimer’s is an especially cruel disease. It robs us of the very essence of who we are; our memories. Thankfully, memory care living communities exist in order to make the lives of people with this condition as easy as possible. Currently, one in eight older American’s has Alzheimer’s, affecting 54% of families. It is estimated that by mid-century, 16 million American’s will suffer from this disease if a cure is not found. That is why it is a relief knowing that the staff at assisted living residences, similar to The Chelsea at Warren (www.chelseaseniorliving.com/locations/new-jersey/warren/), consider investing their time for the wellbeing of patients suffering from Alzheimer’s. Moreover, the workforce at such living facilities is known to encourage the senior residents to live their life independently and without any worries.
Inspired and motivated by all the good work done by others around me, I have also decided to donate my commission to the Alzheimer’s Association-South Central Wisconsin Chapter; their office will dispense of the funds where they feel the need is greatest in the Wisconsin Area. Alzheimer’s affects so many people’s lives whether it be directly or indirectly, it is a vile disease that can rob people of their days. Some studies have shown that healthy brain development can be achieved by regular exercise for people who may be susceptible, and for those just in general. Studies are constantly being done and trials are being put in place to fight against these life-altering diseases, we all need to listen and see how we can help ourselves and others.
I will donate my commission of ALL SCENTSY Sales from this FUNDRAISER to the Alzheimer’s Association-South Central Wisconsin Chapter and their office will dispense of the funds where they feel the need is greatest in the Wisconsin Area.

Where does the Money go?
The Alzheimer’s Association is the largest nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated to accelerating the progress in prevention, cure and living with Alzheimer’s disease. The Alzheimer’s Association and each affiliated chapter share a single vision and mission and are incorporated as independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit entities. The funds raised through Walk to End Alzheimer’s Scensty Fundraiser benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. We strive to:
•Help families across the country by continuing to provide and enhance programs focusing on education and support.
•Advance critical research studies into methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
•Speak up for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s through our public policy initiatives.
Our Mission: To eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
